The TG-310 makes no attempt to hide its brutal nature. Available in silver, white, blue, red or orange, the Tough proudly shows the pin-reinforced and waterproof rubber buttons that decorate their chiseled, metallic body. It's not a bad look all. The device feels modern, accessible and practical.

The TG-310 has one of the least pleasant LCD screens we've seen in a long time. At 2.7 inches it is not particularly small, but the resolution is too low, at 230,000 pixels. The colors are horribly flat, contrast are all over the place, and it makes everything look slightly rubbish, which is not very helpful if it is the only tool you'll be in line for your shots.

The TG-310's performance is also something of a disappointment. Even in bright sunlight, colors to be colorless to veer exaggerated.
